Timothy Costelloe

1839 – 1840 · Ardcroney Graveyard

Here lie the mortal remains of Timothy Costelloe the beloved son of Hugh Costelloe of Garnacurragh, who in the bloom of youth was snatched away from his sorrowing relatives by a malignant fever on the 9th June 1839 at the early age of 21 years. He was tenderly beloved and highly respected by all who knew him and this monument to his memory was erected by his disconsolate father in token of the fond and ---- esteem he bore him. The remains of (?Hugh Costelloe), father to the above who --------- 29th 1840 aged 67 years. (The end portion of this stone is broken & part is missing.)
