Marun Hogan
1833 – 1864 · Cloughprior Graveyard
Sacred to the memory of Marun Hogan of Urrah. After a life of strict integrity and sincere piety he died fortified by the sacraments of the Church on the 13th Oct 1864 aged 73 years. Also of Mary Flannery his beloved wife who ended her exemplary life on the 9th Decr. 1833 aged 36 years. This stone was erected as a tribute of filial love by their son the Rev. James Hogan of Montreal, Canada.
