Erected by Charles Spain Esq. of Nenagh in memory of his beloved father Rody Spain Esq. of Nenagh, Merchant, who died September 26th 1863 aged 64 years. Of his beloved mother Julia Spain who died September 4th 1839 aged 45 years. Of his brother Martin who died July 6th 1846 aged 24 yrs. Of his brother John who died July 14th 1855 aged 32 years. Of his infant children Julia and John who died in 1875 and 1878.
