Erected by John Spain Rapla in memory of his father Cornelius Spain died 28th May 1897 aged 65 years. Also his mother Hanora Spain died 24th August 1899 aged 64 years. Also his sister Margaret Nolan who departed this life 1st March 1879 aged 24 years. Also his wife Nora Spain who died 18th June 1937 aged 62 years. His sister Mary Kate Spain died 19th July 1946 aged 79 years. The above John Spain died 4th Dec 1952 aged 84 years. His son Rev. Dean Spain Liverpool died 19th July 1968 aged 54 years.
