About this graveyard
Fennor is an ancient church site on a hill near Gortnahoe, in the north-east of the Barony of Slievardagh. A holy well close by suggests it was a place of worship from early times; the last church on the site was built in 1815. The graveyard was restored from a long-neglected state by the Fennor Graveyard Restoration Committee from 1992, and this record is drawn from their 1996 guide. Inscriptions are grouped by section and row. (Graveyard location is approximate and may be refined.)

And his two brothers Patrick and Cornelius died young. Also his daughter Mary Kate died Sept. 1st 1882 aged 2 years. And his wife Bridget who died March 12th 1906 aged 65 years. Richard Doheny died 25th April.
