Here lieth the body of Captain Elias Bowler of Whitestone who departed this life Octbr 7. 1793 aged ?55 years. Also the body of his son Wilm Pitt Bowler, Lieut R.N. who departed this life Septr 16. 1823 in the 35 year of his age. He was a brave officer and truly regretted by all to whom he was known.
