Nenagh's newest burial ground, opened in 2015 beside the older Lisboney cemeteries, with lawn-style graves and the district's first columbaria.

About this graveyard
Lisboney Lawn Cemetery was officially opened in 2015 to take over from the adjoining Lisboney New Cemetery, which was then close to capacity. Laid out on about ten hectares at a cost of over a million euro, it provides some five hundred grave spaces in lawn style — uniform headstones set in open grass, chosen so that visiting the graves would be easier and safer — together with two columbaria holding 256 niches for cremated remains, the first facilities of their kind in the district.
The cemetery was opened by the Cathaoirleach, Cllr Ger Darcy, and blessed by three Catholic priests and a Church of Ireland minister. Its stones have not yet been recorded for this archive.
