This Altar has been erected in memory of William Courtney, M.D. (R.U.I.), for 50 years Medical Officer of Nenagh Dispensary, who died March 2nd 1936, and of his children: Lily, died May 10th 1918, aged 25 years; James Lynch, died September 24th 1920, aged 24 years; Eileen, died November 22nd 1928, aged 28 years. And of his wife Kathleen (née Lynch), died April 8th 1939, aged 73 years.
