Erected by his sorrowing wife, to the memory of her husband, Robert Cole Bowen, who died at Falleen 31st May 1874 aged 64 years. 'Was it well with thy husband, it is well.' 11 Kings 1V 26. Here is also buried his wife Eliza, who died on Easter Sunday, the 9th of April 1882. 'For so He giveth His beloved sleep.'
