This stone was placed here by Capt Acheson O'Brien, of Tarmon in the County of Leitrim, in memory of his dearly beloved wife, Catherine, second daughter of the late Thos Gurwood of Shinrone, County Tipperary, Esqr. who departed this life --by 2-- 1817 aged 29 years. (Headstone cracked thro' date).
