Erected by Matthew Ryan of Ileigh as a tribute of love and respect to the superior merit of his beloved wife Mary Fogarty Ryan endowed by nature with those graces of mind and person that win respect she was esteemed in life and mourned in death by all who knew her she died August 24th 1870. In the 35th year of her age. R.I.P. Amen
