Here lieth the body of James Byron, who departed this life June 30 1822 aged 64 years. Also the body of Esther, his wife, who died July 30 1823 aged 42 years. “In sure and steadfast hope to rise and claim their mansion in the skies; two Christians here their flesh lay down, the cross exchanged for a crown.”
