In memory of John Comerford of Kilmore, Nenagh, who died 19th December 1870 aged 26 years. Erected in affectionate remembrance by his devoted wife Elizabeth Anne Comerford. “Or call it but death, it is life begun; the waters are passed & the home is won; the ransomed spirit hath reached the shore where they weep & suffer & sin no more.”
