Erected by Emma Cruise to the memory of her beloved father John Kennedy, Esq, who died trusting in the atoning blood of Jesus on the 15th of August 1862 aged 67. Also to the memory of Mary Kennedy, his wife, who died on the 18th Feb. 1874. “I am the Resurrection and the Life.”
