Erected by Thomas Payne and his brother Patrick in memory of their father Marks Payne, died 23th March 1833 aged 49 yrs. Also his mother Bridget Payne died 2nd June 1862 aged 86 yrs. Also Michael Payne died 14th May 1832 aged 12 years. Their nephew Patrick McGuinness died 9th Oct. 1882 aged 39 yrs. Their niece Bridget Ahern died 17th May 1914 aged 51; her husband John Ahern died 28th Oct. 1907 aged 58. Also her brothers Peter Gibbons died 8th Dec 1902 aged 48; Mark Gibbons died 14th Aug. 1971 aged 84. And her son Peter Ahern died 23rd March 1938 aged 47 yrs; her daughter Maryann Ahern died 27th May 1941 aged 56 yrs; and her son John Ahern died 7th Feb 1961 aged 68 years. Elizabeth Ahern died Nov 15, 1957 aged 67 yrs. Edward Ahern died July 7, 1957 aged 78 yrs.
