Erected by Mary O'Kennedy in memory of her beloved husband, Richard O'Kennedy of Seskin who died March 1827 aged 40. He died […] his God and sincerely lamented by his relations and friends. In grave are interred the mortal remains of his only son John who died March 1837 and his wife Mary O'Kennedy otherwise Meagher who died April 1845.
