This tomb has been placed here by Wm. Vere Cruesse of Lackah Esq. Sacred to the memory of his grandfather Mr. Wm. Cruesse, late of Lackah, who depd this life Sept the 14th 1782 agd. 62 yrs. Also his father Mr. Thos Cruesse, late of Lackah, who depd this life June the 23rd 1796 aged 43 yrs. Likewise his beloved mother Mary Anne Cruesse, otherwise Hunt, daughter to Wm. Hunt of Glangoola Esqr. and niece to Sir Ver. Hunt of Cunna in the Co. of Limerick, Bart, who depd this life April 2nd 1802 aged 44 yrs. May they rest in peace. Here the wicked cease from trouble, Here the weary are at rest.
