Erected by Adam Hodgins of Newtown in memory of his father, James Hodgins, who departed this life June the 4th 1824 in the 75th year of his age. Also his mother Elizabeth Hodgins, who depd this life August 5th 1834 in the 80th year of her age and also in memory of his beloved son James Hodgins who depd this life in the 12th year of his age, May 23rd 1847. Also his daughter Mary Ann O'Brien who depd this life Feb 7th 1853 in the 22nd year of her age. Also his daughter Frances Ardill alias Hodgins who depd this life March the 27th. Also his wife Elizabeth Hodgins alias Mooney who depd this life April the 25th 1860 aged 72 yrs.
