Beneath this tomb lie the remains of Mr. James Hodgins of Cloughjordan, who departed this life on the 6th day of August 1856 aged 61 yrs. Also the remains of twelve of his children who died under the age of ten years. Also of Ellen Comerford, his daughter who died August 11th 1859 aged 31 years. Also Mary A. Hodgins his wife who died February 20 1877 aged 69 years.
