Erected by John Piper of Portland, in memory of his daughter Mary Brooks who died 8th Sept 1891 aged 29 years. Also his wife Ann Piper who died 6th Sept 1892 aged 84 years. Also his daughter Ann Moore, who died 30th April 1894 aged 44 years. The above John Piper died 18th March 1905 aged 78 years. His son John died 21st May 1917 aged 65 years. Also his daughter Charlotte died 1st March 1928 aged 70 years. Also his daughter Susan died 17th March 1933, interred at Brighton, England.
