Sacred to the memory of the Revd John Rogers, Wesleyan minister, who after 56 years toil in the Lord's Vineyard, on February 3rd 1860, in the 87th year of his age, his body, with his charge, laid down and ceased at once to work and live. His beloved wife, Eliza, entered into rest on November 9th 1858, aged 67 years, also sleeps here in Jesus. 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.'
