In memory of Frederick FitzWilliam Trench who departed this life on the 3rd of December 1869 aged 70 years. 'I determined not to know anything among you but Jesus Christ and Him crucified.' 1cor. 11. 25. From this text his first sermon was preached within these walls where his body is now laid and he was enabled by the Grace of God to carry out that determination during his subsequent ministry of 47 years. Also of Louisa Alice his wife, who died 16th of December 1878 aged 73 years. 'The memory of the just is Blessed.'
