Anne Watkins

Here lies by Heaven's decree bereft of life, a tender mother, daughter, friend and wife, with pious ?fortitude she met her fate. Her fervent thoughts -------- state. Either bless'd ---------- had winged its way or body lay in earth to worms a pray, Farewell, dear friends, the end, the Lord adore, and we shall meet in Heaven to part no more. Ered. by John Guer in memory of his beloved wife, Anne Watkins, who departed this life, August 7. 1797 aged 51 years. (This stone very weathered and difficult to read.)
