George Finch

Sacred to the memory of George Finch, late of Kilcolman, Esq. He filled the situation of Magistrate and Deputy Lieutenant of the County Tipperary for several years with ability and integrity, a firm supporter of the laws and established institutions of his country. He was an affectionate husband, a steady friend and a sincere christian. His afflicted widow, who knew his value and revered his virtue, has erected this small but just tribute to his departed worth. He died the 22nd of Novr 1832 in the 64th year of his age. “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
