Richard Wills Gason

Sacred to the memory of Richard Wills Gason, Esqr, J.P., D.L., of Richmond, Nenagh, who died the 25th September 1844 aged 70 years; also to the memory of his beloved wife Anne Gason, who died the 10th October 1850 aged 75 years. “If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” 1 Thess. IV. 14. Erected by their son, Major Wills C. Gason, as an affectionate memorial to their worth and of his lasting sorrow for their loss.
