Note: Latin. Most Rev. Daniel Vaughan, Bishop of Killaloe, died 26 July 1859, aged 69, in the 8th year of his episcopate; the monument was raised in 1909 by his nephews Rev. Canon James Vaughan and Rev. John Vaughan, P.P.
