Erected by Thos. Madden of Slevoir in due respect to his lovering wife Margaret Madden alias Bronagan who departed this life the 7th day of March 1809 in the 65th year of her age. She was sincere to friends and neighbours, also charateble to travelers and strangers, of an honest mind, inclined to good nature, to relieve the poor she used her endeavours.
