George H. Massy

Erected by Revd. Henry Massy M.A., and Elizabeth his wife in memory of their dearly loved children whose bodies rest here until the day break and the shadows flee away. A.D. 1887. George H. Massy T.C.D., fell asleep at Terryglass Rectory on the 21st August 1885 in his 19th year. June the 13th 1886, Henry Thomas aged 18 years. July 16th Robert Every aged 10 days and on October the 7th Mary Henrietta aged 21 years. White in the blood of the lamb. Feby the 8th 1886, Diana Eliner aged 2 years, Feby 14th Madeline Sarah aged 12 years. Lovely and pleasant their lives in their death they were not divided. April the 22nd 1889, Elizabeth Massy, their devoted mother passed out of great tribulation, aged 44 years. April the 16th 1895 Revd Canon Massy A.M., for 23 years Rector of this parish, fell asleep in Jesus, aged 58 years. July the 13th 1895, Lily entered into her rest aged 18 years. To be with Christ which is far better.
