Matthew Malone

Erected by John Malone of Ballycarrido in memory of his father Matthew Malone who died January 13th 1885 aged 73 years. And his grandfather Michael who bravely resisting tyranny was cruelly flogged in '98. He died 1853 aged 84 years. The above John Malone died 1st May 1928 aged 80. And his wife Mary died 13th August 1940 aged 72. Also his brother Martin died 20th March 1936 aged 73. His daughter Mary died 9th July 1961. His son Michael died 31st December 1971. His daughter Kathleen Clifford died 9th August 1976 aged 75.
