William Cantrell

1830 – 1871 · Kenyon Street Graveyard

This tomb erected by Phoebe Cantrell, alias Howard, to record the memory of her husband William Cantrell of Nenagh, Esqr., who died 19th July 1847 aged 49 years; and Joshua, who died 24th Oct.r 1852 aged 60; of John Cantrell, their father, who died 11th Jan.y 1830 aged 74 years; and Elizabeth Cantrell, alias Smith, their mother. Was restored in 1873 by Mary Anne Howard, in grateful remembrance of the above named and of her beloved sisters, Frances Corcoran, who died 18th Feby 1867, and Phoebe Cantrell, who, trusting the merits of her Redeemer, died on the 8th day of January 1871 aged 73 years.
